I am not necessarily telling you to go and buy a coil I am just stating what helped in my situation.. In reference to the other post he is right dont get swap happy but some parts houses at least where I live will take them back if it didnt fix the issue.. A coil would be easy to bold on and test if no result return it. Granted you cant do this with all parts. One thing I didnt think of what kind of plugs did you put in? if they need to be gapped did you set the proper gap? It should be 0.052"-0.056. Lots of places sell the injectors. Bosch also makes a good injector. http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injec...RD.asp#foted5b

Or try ebay.. My buddy bought his from ebay.. Just make sure they are flow tested and cleaned (replaced screens o rings and pintle caps)

For example

Yeah, I checked and a coil is like 20 bucks, so I figure what the hell. I will pick it up tonight and see if it helps if I have time. I figure if it doesn't help, it will be just another item added to the list of replaced..... also thanks for the ebay listing, I checked but my search did not pull up any results, but with yours I was able to see the seller had more and for a decent price. I am on the fence of buying them or getting a summer riding jacket......... probably go with the injectors though who need armor anyway

EDIT: Temptation got to me and I just bought the injectors on ebay.

Almost fed up..........
Went out this morning to tinker more with the KOEO/KOER test...... was at Walgreen'swaiting on scripts and found a nifty test light and multimeter for a couple bucks. Still no luck getting any readings from the output port to the test light, meter, or MIL/CEL.....

Eureka....... i hope, being out of idea I decided to check the timing and KOEO/KOER test again since I am at a loss to the problem but this time I heard something different. I heard a vacuum leak and found one nipple I forgot to re attach but even after that I could still hear something.
I followed the noise to the MAP sensor, but felt around it still didn't locate the leak but while tracing it back to below the intake the tugging broke it. The rubber is old and weathered but I am betting it is split below the intake... Will remove the rest of the intake tomorrow since I am replacing the injectors this week anyway, I think I will go ahead and do the valve covers as well and all other rubber lines. So I am putting all my eggs in this bucket cause I wont be starting it for a little bit but has anyone heard of this leak causing the same issue before?

If you don't think this is going to solve the problem please chime in, wont hurt my feelings

I GOT IT!!!! and damn does it sound sweet.

To sum up, I am almost certain it was the hose to the MAP sensor butalso replaced the stock injectors with later version models, as seen in the link a few post back.
Since I had to take the upper intake offto get to the hose, I went ahead and replaced the gaskets and the valve cover gaskets as well. But the vacuum hoses under the intake were dry rotted, and chewed on
I found a nest in the back right side where something was eating pecans and crewing hoses. Anyway all that and now she is back to a perfect idle and no more gas smelled super rich exhaust. Throttle response is awesome and RPM steady. Wish I had more done to it already, would love to take it for spin but that will have to wait another day.
