How's the vacuum at idle and when accelerating hard? Of course a LOT of things can cause surging problems but that's usually one of the first things I check. Cheap fix

Simple stuff first, clean MAF with carb cleaner, if your are using an air filter similar to the K&N types it has oil on it and can transfer to you MAF element. Next, replace your fuel filter. Check all of your plug wires and plugs. This simple stuff can cause surge problems under load.

I have had problems in the past with a bad fuel filter. I also have an external 255 fuelpump that I run piggy back with a cut out switch and relay. If I don't bump over to the right position on a vain it starves for fuel under load just running the internal pump. Let us know what you find. MAC
