RE: 90/10's or 70/30's for street.
so basically setting 1 is like 90/10 right?
i am looking to get some 90/10 lakewoods (i have 50/50 rears) and had this same exact question about driveability.
i see tokico sells these 5 way adjustables for drag, can i be positive that the setting '1' will be identical to a 90/10 strut, i want to complete my drag suspension with struts, i have 4 banger springs ready to go in.
heres the link to the strut i want

RE: 90/10's or 70/30's for street.
I'm thinking the same thing with drivability. I want to be able to get the most out of my car at the track but still be able to put street tires back on it and not have a worry. I think the adjustables would better suited for this even though they are more money. Those Tokico adjustable struts are a nice piece.
When i can afford it, those are going to be what i buy.

Personally I would not use 90/10 front struts on the street but the adjustable ones might be OK as long as you set them back to the street setting before leaving the track after you race.

RE: 90/10's or 70/30's for street.
I got 90/10's today.
I couldn't wait, I returned my monroe sensatrac struts and for the same price got some lakewood drag shocks.
does anyone have an easy way of getting the top bolt off the stock strut rod?
it has a slot in the top, so I thought, turn the bolt with a wrench and hold the slot with a piece of angle iron, and it just twisted the angle iron, and I broke 2 screwdrivers too.
how can I hold the strut still to take the bolt off?
