Default gauges

this sounds stupid but i like autometer gauges and i like the pillar type pods and i am wandering wut would be some good gauges to have in my car(fuel press,oil press,etc.)all my stock ones work,i like the way the new ones look.

i would go with a wideband A/F ratio.

and autometer guages are way more acurate than the stock guages

i have an autometer monster tach i had in another hotrod i had,i thought of using it butmy friends and dadsay its stupid to have it when i have the stock one,any input on this one.

I still use the stock 7k one in my 85 gt......although many clain the stock tach is not that accurate..it has worked well for me...then again I have msd ignition and a tach adapter to still retain use......I'm not a huge fan of the monster tach but I'll never say never cause you never know, and I don't have any real place to mount one inside the car as I don't want to bolt it to my new dash pad

oil press,water temp, a/f guage, tranny temp and Fuel pressure all in that order. the first 3 are very important.

well i found a a/f gauge thats $30 that monitors both sides,is it worth it?

honestly an a/f gauge is not really necessary on a car in my opinion unless your running a power adder
