My fuel pump relay is under the drivers seat. Did they move it for 93?
The fuel pump relayu is green. The one under the MAF on my car is for the a/c compressor. There is also an EEC relay under the hood somewhere. I've seen them get corroded and not energize the fuel pump relay.

i had the exact same prob with my car and its not the relay. a relay will either work or not when they quit they quit. it is your fuel pump try this: next time the pump dosent turn on with the key get something hard like a board or small hammer and tap on the tank then try it again may have to do it a few times but it will eventually work, so basically im saying its your fuel pump. i bought a new 190lph pump from summit it was like 100 shipped to my door and has worked great since!!! i would recommend upgrading to at least a 155!!! good luck

I would say a loose connection is what i suspect, but you say it doesn't just die, you turn the car off & it wont turn back on.

When this happens does everything else turn on other than the fuel pump? Is the computer coming on, but fuel pump staying off? If that's the case then it should be pretty easy to figure out.

Up to you whether you want to or not. I would probably carry a decent sized (length) wire around with me to jump from the negative side of the battery to the relay. leave the key on & test it against the negative of the relay (the switching side which will be the smaller wire) to see if it's failing to trip the relay.
If that's not the problem you could try running a wire from the positive side of the battery to the positive fuel pump wire & see if the fuel pump kicks on to make sure it's not a bad ground on the after relay circuit or bad fuel pump.

That way you can narrow it down to find out if it's the relay itself or the after relay circuit. If you need I could get a picture of the ones you need to back probe unless you understand what i'm saying.

Everytime any of my friends call me to have me fix their wiring problems it always ends up being a ground either corroded or bad connection to a ground.

he said he has power on both side of the inertia switch. So hes getting power back there. If you have a volt meter make sure its 12v.It will hit 12v for like 2 second to prime then itll drop back down to 0v.

I upgraded the fuel pump on my car and I hear it turn on. But I'm not getting any fuel to my engine. Do I need to bleed the line?

start your own post man, dont add on to one from 5 years ago. if u replaced the pump and still dont have fuel, the pump was never your problem to begin with. check power and ground to the pump, and go from there, dont just throw parts at it.
