msd cap

i have a bone stock 86 convertible with 86k original miles and im doing a tune up on it this weekend...my question is whether there is any added benefit going with a msd cap and rotor kit as opposed to just using a stock one...thanx...john

It was a very nice tune-up/upgrade for me...My car loved it.

I gained 4HP with a MSD Cap/rotor...j/k. I think the capterminals arebetter quality over stock.

Hey, last year I did rotor, cap, wires and plugs. Basically have a stock mustang and I notice a big difference, more response out of the gate. I stuck with motorcraft for all.
