.030 is standard and you'll need a complete gasket kit and oil pump and cam if you decide to swap at this time..new timing chain....and once machine shop determines it needs a bore of .030...then buy pistons so they can match bore to pistons and matching rings to pistons and you can reuse your stock rods...and can have them reconditioned if desired

+1

it would be like having a brand new engine, and with the trickflow topend kit, youll be making decent power

why a 75shot? most ppl start with 100shot, and work there way up, from what ive heard the STOCK parts can handle 100shot pretty easy, and ive seen quite a few dyno's where a 150shot jumps HP by 100hp! (in most cases )

GOOD LUCK
and keep us updated on your build!

I'll help with anything. I love working on stangs. If I don't know how to do it I figure it out. But as for machine shops you have a better shot there in Austin.

Sounds like fun. I need to find a shop somewhere close to get my GT40 heads cleaned up but I don't have the cash to play with it right now so I just tweak things here and work what I can to play with my car. I am getting ready to rebuild a buddies POS SRT4 motor because he doesn't know what he is doing and he thinks he does and I am gettin $200 for it. Not a bad deal. I work cheap lol. Just bought a house, have 2 car payments, an 9 month old daughter and a wife with Army pay doesn't leave alot of room for playinglol
