Default BBK SSI anyone?

Has anyone used the BBK SSi intake on there car? The car I want to put it on is supercharged and somone once told me that BBK intakes leak or don't form good seals? So really has anyone ran any BBK intake on a boosted application or know somone who has?

I personally have not used it, but from what I have read in the past, its probably best to stay away from it

I'm not running boost. But on another car i ordered 2, one for me and one for a buddy. We never got a chance to install them because the quality was so bad. It was terrible. I called Brother's Performance which usually will not give refunds and we talked and then he gave me a contact at BBK. The guy at BBK was a Dick. Brother's wound up refunding my money and paid to have it shipped back, he said he would deal with BBK his self.

Wow...that really sucks....Know of any good aftermarket intakes for boosted mustangs? I would prefer somthing that has a 75mm inlet, or converted thats damn close to 3".

Edlebrock Vic Jr with EFI ports and 90* elbow.
Great for boost. Will need to buy the Edlebrock fuel rail with it.

Still end up cheaper than the BBK intake

I read an article in 5.0Magazine about the BBK Intake......the numbers were HORRIBLE!

They definitely look cool, but there are better options out there...

Either the Holley Sys II intake or the Edlebrock Vic Jr EFI with elbow as stated above.
