Dont you want to shift into the next gear at the maximum power.. So if your in first gear, and makin the most power at 4000 rpm for example. Dont you want to shift into second gear so that the rpms start at bout 4000 rpm in second gear. Hope that makes sense.

Who cares what the dyno says. Get to the track and experiment with your shift points there.

i shift at 6500
but when i was stock I would wind out first to 6100 and all the rest i'd shift at 6000
drivin normal in the city, I shift at 4k
