accel cap and rotor

My dad is stopping at Autozone after work today and I was told before I start modifying a few things to change were the distributor cap and rotor by MSD. Does it really matter that much which one to get because Autozone carries the Accel cap and rotor kit and I'd rather just pick it up there than order it on the internet. Or should I just save my money for the MSD set?

the accel and the msd are the same but the color the both use brass terminals. i have an accel cap and rotor on my car
