I like my ported edelbrock. You can still get a strut tower brace across the engine bay. If not, then my buddy's GT 40 is pretty sweet too.

Do some research on the GT40 before you make silly comments like that. There is alot more to an intake then just peak flow numbers.
trust me i have. a holly and the trickflow are some of the best all around intakes out there right now. the only thing that the gt40 has really going for it is the price. When i was going my build it wasnt even considered because i found a used holley for cheap.

IF i was forcing air into my motor with a blower imight even consider a gt40 as well

eddy performer 2, great powerband and room to go (6500 rpms)and can still use a strut brace without clerance issues. and what says muscle car the best to folks than edelbrock stamped on the top of your windsor?!!!

What is it you think trickflow and holly have over a GT40 setup?

higher peak hp numbers, but the gt40 has the most uasable power band for the street, if the car is going for a high reving drag car then the holley would be the best choice.
im sure alot of people have read this before but it is what made my desision on what intake i wanted to use. http://www.tmossporting.com/tabid/3451/Default.aspx

That's exactly what I am talking about. People are so quick to ditch the GT40's because the other manufacturers claim higher horsepower. I don't know about you, but on my street car I would much prefer higher horsepower numbers from 3-5500rpm on the GT40 then the 5-6000rpm on the holley and trickflows. We'll not even get into what a ported GT40 can do.
