Default electric fan??

i just bought and electric fan set-up on a 4 core radiator..i wanna put it on but perfoer not key on hot...any suggestions? and help would be greatt

not key on hot??wtf?? what do you mean ?? you need to wire it up with a relay and to come on via a thermostatic fan switch

thats what i figured...but what would be the best way to do it...the guy before me did it to the starter re-lay on the fenderwell so the fans were constantly on.

sommit racing sells kits but the cheap way is go to your local parts store ..buy a 30 amp relay and fuse holder and wire the relay up to be triggered on via a thermostatic fan switch ,which can be purchased through summit for 25-30 dollars

with that huge 4 core and it wired key on hot its not gonna reach running tempeture....i have the wiring on the fan what else do i need and where do i get it..

i found that tooo but i found the 40$ kit that has the thermostatic switch and relay..i have all the wiring already thanks !!

sending unit goes in a coolant port.....you'll have to find a spot for that....and relay goes as such.. there will be two heavier wires on it = 1 to power wire of fan.... other to battery........ground neg wire of fan.....2 small wires on relay = 1 goes to sending unit and other goes to switched 12 volts....the relay kit comes with wiring instructions so no worry
