Ticking/ tapping sounds are usually lifters or valves, how is the oil level and is near time for a oil change? I have heard some holes in the exhaust make a similar noise as well though. The knock during a turn though I don't think is related to the noise, maybe tie rod, pinion, or bearing.

An injector going bad can cause a ticking noise.

No, but you want to make sure that's the problem.

I don't know if this will help with yours but if you think its a mis, here is what I used to do with bikes, should still somewhat apply.
After the engine is cold, start it up and let it run a minute or two then shut it down. Get a little spit on your finger and touch the pipes on the exhaust manifold from each cylinder. The one that sizzles the least or not at all is where the mis fire is. Very low tech but you could also use infrared thermometer if you have one but I am not sure it is a mis. The only way I know to check the exhaust is either crawl under while it is running and feel for air moving.

tapping, sounds like a lack of oiling or carbon buildup from lack of changing oil.
the knock...is the car low on power? could be from retarted timing, or advanced timing.

if it has a misfire = shaking and a ticking sound... you might try lightly misting the wires with a spray bottle and look for any spark arcing out of the wires= if so = need new wires
