i would get an afrp and a gauge to begin with. you may need a bigger pump to feed your motor. I would get a fuel pressure gauge that mounts to the fuel rail schrader valve. my gauge is on the side of my afpr and causes clearance issues with the egr- i just blocked the egr off but you may not want to do that.

Have you changed the chip?
Most dyno shops will sell you a reprogrammable chip, and they can richen the fuel mixture with the new chip. Yeah, kinda expensive (around $350 or so), but as I said, it's reprogrammable, so any future mods can be matched to the chip.

RE: RUNNING LEAN HELP!

U need a AFPR, gauge, and a 3inch extention from any local auto shop, for the clearance issue. I had the same problem so i went to my local speed shop and they had the perfect piece. But make sure u tighten the extra pieces TIGHT!!. I actually had to put teflon tape around the threads cuz after my tightening there was still alittle leak. Get some teflon tape to be sure. If problems still persist, get the new pump.

check your fuel filter too, it might be clogged.
when I ran lean it was because some paper-like substance got into my fuel line and blocked it.
after redoing my top end gaskets twice, and after changing the fuel pump to 190lph.
but at least I know its all good now.
