i noticed my sparkplug is arcing could that make a ticking if more than one are??

Are you getting a misfire with it, as in strange idle or shaking? What cylinder is it and where is it arcing against?

back two on the passenger side middle two on the driver side lol

but it idles fine and runs fine ...theyre might be a slight miss but by slight i mean slight...i have an oversizer cam so it all ways sound srough

Ok so cylinders 3 & 4 and 6 & 7 are arching, as in the spark is jumping from the wire to piece of metal around them, and the engine is running with no notable problem idling..... I am sure I am missing something or putting this together in my head wrong. How did you see the arching?

i looked under the hood at night and it looked like a firework show
would that tick?

hmmm.... got me stumped but definitely time for new wires. I would assume the arching would cause moreissues /symptomsthan the ticking so I am going to say not sure it will solve the problem but worth fixing. Do you have a Harbor Freight anywhere near you, they have a cheap stethoscope that might help to narrow down the location.

so im going to replace the wires and plugs if im doing one ill do them both you know?
if that doesnt stop the ticking i am going to check the pushrods....it didnt cross my mind when i had the covers off (short term memory) but thats real easy to so...gonna jump on that too
