I aquired a 86 Mustang LX 5.0 today and I am excited, I have not had a Mustang since my 1992 LX 5.0 and I need some questions answered. The tail lights need to be replaced and I do not know if I can take the tail lights from a 88-92 lx and put them on my 86? If there are any Mustang owners on here that live in Michigan can anyone tell me how much it would cost to have my headliner replaced or a suggestion to have this done? Thank you in advance for your time!!!!

yes the tail lights will fit.as for your headliner its pretty easy to do yourself...your have to remove most of the interior panels to get it out without ripping it then remove the old material,use some spray adhesive starting at the center and working your way out using something flat to smooth out the bubbles and wrap the fabric around the ends
