not if the corner gasket is leaking that goes from intake to head port....the coolant ports leaking to the outside at the gasket will not affect the way it runs one bit..only if the gasket were blown at a port where it enters a intake runner and those ports don't house coolant

it actually leaks right around the rear throttle body heater hose.

ive narrowed it down to either the lower intake, or the fitting that hose connects to, which is in the lower anyway.

no room to work so i figure may as well just pull the intake

its not my DD so i got time, but would like to get this done quick

pressure tested it just now, got coolant coming from a couple different places but mostly behind the intake.

too much crap in the way to pinpoint it but the coolant stream is all along the lower intake on the passenger side. drivers side is bone dry.

the leak is coming from the rear somewhere.

my only choice is to drive the car 45 miles to my garage, or leave the intake open for a couple nights in my driveway.

what do u guys think i should do?

If it is leaking as bad as it sounds I don't think you will make it more than a mile before having to refill. Can you pull the upper intake off to get a better look at the leak and more hand room?
