with the proper care and maintence the car could go for a very long time...my father had a charger i beilive...it was a truck or wuv which ever...had 400,000 miles on it when it died because the engine block cracked...the pulled the plugs and there was nothing left...they have no clue how it even ran and how it got spark but it did for the whole time....and these were no easy miles...on bull **** eather...

I am starting to worry about oil pressure though.

great thing about these cars is that if the frame is in good shape and there isn't a lot of rust, if the engine goes you just drop in another and drive, besides i had a lady who had hers at an outo show tell me she got 425,000 miles out of hers and when the engine went she dropped in a 351 windsor, and a tremec, and much more, the mustang will live on as long as you can properly maintain it.

i just put a new engine in my car and the old engine had 158,000 and ran great.

stangs dont have frames

had 178,000 on mine before the rebuild and she still ran strong. It did have a nasty rear main leak though.
