Anyone have a p/n for a trans gear that will make the speedo close? I just want the trans to shift close to the correct rpm after the gear was changed it will go into fuel cut-off before it shifts its a 94gt 5.0 with a AODE

RE: 2.73 to 4.10 speedo help
there isn't one
your aode has a 8t drive gear which is part of the output shaft
if you use the nonford 23t driven gear (white gear) it will make it think it has 3.55's in it
the purple 21t ford gear will make it think it has 3.27's in it
other than that....no options other than a tranny teardown and replace the output shaft w/ a 6t drive gear shaft
sorry.... t5's have a circular gear clipped on the output...so it's a simple swap for the '90 and newer cars w/ 8t....the older have 7t and good to go
but for 4.10's....even on 5-speeds 7t still requires you to go 23t gear which is the wrong pitch for any ford trans...just moreso for aod cars.
