I am wanting to wire my fog lights so i can turn them on and off without having to turn the main headlights on. I want to be able to just turn them on using the fog light switch. Has anyone done this before and if so how did you go about doing it.

unless you want to hack up wiring so they operate the way you want..cause in stock form they are wired to go off with the bright lights on.....so easiest way is out under the bumper..unplug them from the harness...buy a 30 amp relay and switch..or use the switch in your car....but you'll also have to unplug that and create new wiring for it..but that's the easiest way to do it

I think the easiest way is to wire them so they turn on any time the parking lights are on. Takes like 10 minutes and involves zero cutting.
