Default exhaust/brake line clearance on '79

rightwhere the passenger side muffler bracket goes, theres a brake line bracket and where the tail pipe goes over the axle the brake line is blocking it...i want to try moving the bracket inward with a sheet metal screw. any ideas, or has any one done it on a four eye?

you can make new lines over the axle so as to make it look like 87-93 mustangs for proper clearance for dual pipes.. I tied the line out of the way on my 92 when I converted it to a 5.0

ive tried finding the upper rear steel brake line when doing my 4to 8 swap but no luck. ford told me it went obsolete in 98. so i had to fab a new line and get a new brake line adapter block because the v8 brake hose has a banjo bolt type block at the top. the v8 rear has the hose in the middle vs the 7.5 its on the right side. it was honestly the hardest part of the swap everything else was cake. remember its your brakes, dont half *** it!

I have the same issue with my 83 and the p/s tail pipe. I have the mount unbolted and pulled to the side and zip tied over to clear the muffler but I am gonna extend the hard line before the rubber line and bend it away from the tail pipe to be sure everything clears. Its the only thing holding me back from putting on my other tail pipe lol. I will eventually order a complete brake line kit for all new hard lines from Latemodel Restoration once I get the money.

On 87+ where does the brake line come to the rear end at?
The kit from Latemodel for around $130 for steel and $150 for stainless. Included everything except flexhose from what it says.
