clutch safety switch?

clutch safety switch?
Does anyone have a picture or can anyone give me a description of what the safety switch on our clutch pedal looks like? I did a auto to manual swap and the car won't start. I can jump the wires under the dash and get it started, but that seems a little half-a$$ed! My friend can get me the switch from a junk yard and needs to know what it looks like. All help would be much appreciated! -Dave

RE: clutch safety switch?
i dont have a picture, but if you look it up on 50resto.com they have them. I did a 5 speed swap and i just left the auto connector on there that jumps it, so i dont have a neutral safety switch. IMO, you should always push the clutch in when starting so you dont need a switch, and i dont have kids so...

RE: clutch safety switch?
most likely you didn't jump the wires on the prndl switch for the auto tranny.. if using a clutch switch you wire the prndl switch into the clutch switch and the other wires on the prndl switch get wired into the reverse light switch on the t-5 so the back up lights work
