Has the engine ever overheated and is there any issues with coolant or anything like that? I do not think it is the coil but if you got 20 bucks tospare you can test it out pretty easy. The reason I ask about overheating is long ago, my first car, had warped heads, so it was good enough to get me to school, then work, then home but only if it had a chance to cool all the way off between each stop.... After it warmed up all the way had to feather the gas pedal to keep it running... odd part was never any coolant or oil mixed.

just because you HAD fuel pressure when it WAS running ,doesnt mean you can say thats not it,you also HAD spark and everything else.try listening to the tech's on here when they give advice. go get a pressure gauge there always good to have anyway,then check it when it dies again.then check for spark..good luck

Ok again, you obviously have a temp related no start condition. After the fuel pump gets warm and you shut the car down, the pump could be pumping less than the required amount of gas to start the car. You could also have a f/p relay getting hot. And again, there could be lack of spark to the plugs causing the problem. You have to narrow it down by doing the tests properly. Maybe there is no injector pulse to fire the injectors. It could be a lot of things. Guessing is not one of them.

ok now i am starting to think it is a fuel pump problem because when i turn the ignition switch i hear the fuel pump and then when i try and start it and it wont start.... i dont hear the fuel pump again

The pump will only kick on briefly at start up, it does not continue to run constantly. I personally and recently have had an encounter of a warmed up fuel pump failing but working beautiful when cold, so for whats its worth... get the fuel pressure gauge as previously suggested. They are not that expensive and you may be able to rent the tool from a parts house if they do the loaner tool.

great now i am not geting any spark from my coil dang if it aint one thing its another cant wait till i see it running good.

fuel pump will have power in the crank position...again what are your methoods to verify no spark from coil??

Id guess something electical, like ICM. Something that may have cracks, and when gets hot expands and stops funcitoning.
