Default 94-95 Computer for a 351

How well does a 94-95 GT computer accept a stock to mild 351 without a tune?

Have you done the swap before or is it speculation on your part? I know the fox computer can support the swap for a stock setup but I know the 94-95 computers do suck.

the cam will be the biggest factor and choice.....having one ground with a 114 lsa will be necessary for idel quality.. but honestly the tune on the ecm was created for the power curve and at that detuned in the spark curve and fuel mapping......I'f I were to get a sn-95 I'd throw a aftermarket harness to accept a fox ecm which will be more forgiving with mods

I heard that the swap was possible I just didn't know if it was direct (ecm swap). I was thinking of getting one after the next time I go to Iraq for my DD so I can do the work that is neccesary on my 83 to get it nice and clean. Well either that or I want to get another 92 cougar witha5.0and put a T5 in it and do a H/C/I to it for aDD. Those are sooooo comfortable. I missthe oneI had lol.

The only t-bird I might find nice to own would be a turbo coupe.... a 2.3 built right and added boost will make those things fly
