Get a broom handle and hollow those bad boys out, I personally bought a set of hi flow cats and I am still legal and I don't smell all the raw fuel.

yea but after u gut out ur catalytics u get a check engine light if u buy your cats and replace the oem ones for the performance ones ur check engine doesnt come out i remmember because i gutted my catalytic on my honda and my check engine light came on so i think its the same if i do it to the stang im just worndering if it does happend is their a easy way other then disconnecting the battery (wont work) that i can take it off just in case it does come out

i dont have any cats on mine. it has to do with where your o2 sensor is on my car it is before the cats so it does not turn it on when you get them taken off. on your honda it might have been after the cats so it turned it on

That would be correct.

Gutting the cats is a waste of time. Just buy an o/r pipe and be done. If you live in an emissions state, you will need to put them back on the car for testing.

i live in middle ga so we dont test. aslong as your car isnt going down the road on fire they dont care what you do to it.
