I need new 5.0 emblems and the ones that i'm looking at getting are chrome with a red dot. 5.0. Does the red dot mean anything extra? all the ones i've seen on mustangs are completely chrome and I was just wondering if the red dot had any meaning. Thanks.

the red dot is what the original emblem had, nothing special

they make so many different emblems...last year I put on the ones you mentioned ..only to remove them in the fall for some red ones to match my color skeam in the car and they say :5.0 HIGH PERFORMANCE.....I just finished putting a 347 in and now I wish I had the 347 emblems.....but I won't change cause disguise is the best recipe for a beating!!
