Default AFR HEADS!

What is the difference in AFR"S emissions legal and the non emissions heads. I know that one will pass emissions test and the other wont but i want to know is how does the performance differ/ and if i use non emissions heads will i have to take off r plug up any hoses from smog system or anything like that. i dont have to pass an emissions test so i am not worried about that. i just wanna be sure to get the better of the two heads.

the emissions legal heads have the holes at the back of the heads for the theremactor air injection tube...if you purchase non emisssions heads there will be no plugging to do....all you'll have to do is remove tubing and plug tube that goes down to the cats/h-pipe

Mjr is correct....!

I personally preferred the "emissions legal" heads, for a slightly better resale value. I just plugged them up with a couple thermactor plugs, if someone needs them later that does have to worry about emissions.

Nope, not as far as ports, but there are a few different combustion chamber sizes.

as long as the combustion chambers are the same cc no noticable difference in power..if emissions are of no concern..just but the non emissions heads
