I'm not saying it's the problem, but it's worth a try. You have a lot more air rushing in the cylinders now, it could easily be blowing out the spark. I had that problem even when I was running 9 psi. Closed the gap, problem solved. Also, if you experience detonation, run 1 or 2 step colder plugs.

does this car have a MAF or the older MAP sensor system?? I have seen problems with the older map systems if you have a map on your car call your local ford dealer and get the maf conversion. if not check your fuel filter the increased demand for fuel on a partially clogged filter will do the same

Ya you definitly need to close the gap to 30-35, and when the sensor pegs you dont need a psychically larger maf just one with a dif meter that wont peg electronically.

Maybe the fuel filter is partially clogged and can't flow enough fuel at 5000rpm + with the blower.
