Can I port my stock intake manifold to match a cobra intake manifold? Wondering b/c the person I purchased my car (91 5.0 Coupe, F Cam, BBK Headers, X Pipes, 3:73) said he had it ported bigger than a cobra intake, is this true? I was going to purchase one if not, if it is true, I was going to by some injectors. Do I need a new mass air flow sensor, if I do and if so which one? Thanks for all the help.

bigger possible, but match, no. the cobragt40 intake manifold is different than the stock manifold not just in size but the shape of the runners, if you see the gaskets you will understand.

Id look for someone with a sn95 who has there stock maf, most will sell them cheap i sold mine for 20 bux its 70mm and calibrated to stock 19 injectors. Pull the top plenum off and you should be able to tell real easy if the intake is ported, but even a ported stock one is no match for a ported gt40 or aftermarket one, id just buy a new one whenever you decide to do heads.

Thanks guys, yeah he said he had the heads ported and polisehed too. He told me the intake was ported too, and that all i needed was injectors.
