need help afr heads install?

Default need help afr heads install?

i'm currently installing my afr 165 heads. the problem is the accesory brackets hole are 9/16 and my heads accesory bracket holes is 5/8. have anyone installed afr heads before, if so please let me know what you did A.S.A.P.

AFR heads have the same size "thermactor" and "accessory" holes as a stock cylinder head.

The heads are not side specific but in the end of each head there is a plug that allows the accessory bracket to screw in. If it wont screw in chances are the plug is in the back side of the head, which will block the EGR from functioning. The plugs just thread in so unscrew them and screw them into the front holes of the heads.

you can go buy those "thermoatic" ,or however you say it, plugs too. I have in the past.

yea when i did mine i just drilled the hole out bigger so the bolt would fit it, and i plugged my thermactor holes so it didnt matter to me

you did it the wrong way. The hole the accessory bracket bolts into is smaller, if anything the hole should be too big and the plug makes it smaller.
