ok so my dad and i looked at the plugs im running and they arent seated correctly as mentioned...its stained around all plugs so tomorrow im gettint he autolites....also my number 4 plug wire had soem breaks in it ( like some cracks) so i rtv'd it and my number 7 wire was f'ed up...so im going to buy another set of the ford racing wires.....this should solve my popping problem hopefully
If the coil is not sparking at all, you can do a resistance check across the the positive and negative poles, if you have infinate resistance the coil is for sure N.G.. If the problemis intermitant you will have to see if the coil is getting a spark signal when it is not firing. If it is getting a signal and not firing (and your ground is good) the coil is N.G..
ok new plugs are in ( autolites) car runs muchhh better....no more popping...the popping was probably my motor sucking cold air in because those accel plugs weren seated properly
