Default popping noise

ok so i just put edelbrock heads on and now its all back together and when i drive and i punch the gas i hear a pop noise sometimes...anyone know what it could be...im thinking mabe timings off but i didnt remove the distributor so..helpp

does it bogg down too when this happens? if so, it might have a bad valve, maybe damaged in shipping.

noo it dont bog...it jus kinda makes a pop noise..like i was cruising at like 50 and i smashed it and it made a pop noise...i kinda think my msd box is no good is that possible

o yea and the valves were already on my car my dad put it all together ( hes a certified tech lol )

ok good...i noticed it did it when i pulled my super chip out..so i put it back in and it stopped but i will check the plugs..if its lean how do i fix it?

myn did the same thing, check ur plugs, i put new plugs in and it runs fine, also how hot does ur car run?
