Thunderbirds have the 2 drain plugs too.
The idiot at Ford who decided this should be fired.
Best would have been to raise the front portion of the pan so it doesn't trap oil. Then widen rear of the pan to bring back it's original capacity.
I'm going to measure mine next time but are you really sure the front portion holds a quart? I think it's less.
