Default car dying after driving for 5 mins

This is driving me crazy.Just recently bought a 1988 gt 5 speed and drove it home (about 60 miles) no problem. The first time i go to put gas in it it dies leaving the gas station.left it for about 2 hrs and it started up and drove home fine.drove it around the block a few times and no problem.got more gas and the same thing.i was told it was probably the fuel pump so i installed a walbro 255lph and also replaced the cap/rotor,plugs,wires,coil,headers at the same time.just went to drive it and 5 mins later died while driving again and wont restart.Does anyone have any ideas?

You have to determine if it's a spark or fuel issue first and go from there.

check the inertia switch harness , pull it off, clean it out w/ brake cleaner or tuner cleaner...plug it in hard , make sure there is no shorts

if not...i'd start w/ a fp guage and that way you can get an idea what it is...fp stays good and it dies...probably spark , and possibly the dizzy....but yeah narrow it down first.

TFI moduale!!! ITs located on your Distributer and has a plug that goes into it. I've had one go on past Ford vehicals. If gets hot and the moduale stops working, so in turn you get no spark.
