Can you swap out the stock explorer egr spacer and tb with a stock 5.0 units?

I read the explorer intake has a "power robbing" 90 degree turn in the intake path.

I'd rather avoid that.

its the same as the gt40, not the cobra intake, but its also alot havier, because its cast iron.

There was a post discussion a few days ago about this sort of thing lol. Don't give out bogus information, if your not sure just don't post or do some research and then post. The intake is cast aluminum not cast iron sorry to disappoint. And the Cobra used the GT40 intake, its one in the same, but the Explorer has a little more weight to it and is a little bulkier. NOT CAST IRON THOUGH you would drop a nut putting that thing on and trying to balance it to bolt it down if it was.[8D]

people talk a lot of crap birdman lol...

but ill tell you what, im very happy with my intake and i cant feel the POWER ROBBING OMFGZ 90 DEGREE TURN.... this explorer intake woke up the stang, now its just mash the gas and fly, before it was mash the gas and wait.
