Well I finally installed my first mod today, the bbk CAI. Took a while to get the air silencer out from under the bottom of the fender. Anyways after installing it, I started the car up for about 10 minuts and checked for air leaks. Seemed good so turned off the car. Then every 30 seconds or so there is a kind of loud clicking noise and I determined it is coming from the CAI!?! Is this normal? I dont remember it doing that before[:-] Also how in the holy hell do you tighten the metal ring around the filter? Is there some kind of trick? I can berely get one hand up there! ThX

Yea me neither...But its something right in there clicking, im sure of it. stangLx is your CAI the fenderwell model? If so any tips on how to tighten the metal strap to the air filter? Do I have to jack the vehicle up, or take the whole fender off?

your gonna need a second person to help you!! get under the fender and hold the filter so it wont move,have the second person tighten the metal strap with a screwdriver. that should
work it did for me!!

when I put my fenderwell CAI on I just jacked up the car, and did it from underneath.
just have a trouble light in the fenderwel so you can see what youre doing.
I thought the same thing, how the heck am I gonna get it in? but I had the car up to change the oil, and looked at it, it took mabye 2 minutes to get it on.
