hey guys how can i check the compression to see if my motor still good,and if is not good what do i do about it i cant get mine start it it has fuel coming, it hasplenty off spark and new compute whats next.

by a guage remove coil wire and spark plugs and install gauge and turn motor over using the starter.....but I'd like to know how you verified it has planty of spark and fuel.....and don't say you pressed the shreoder valve down and fuel came out so you know you have fuel...you need a fuel pressure tester...."no ifs ands or buts"

you think the timing is off if i put the foot all the way down it wants to thry to start but it wont.

What is the problem exactly w/ the car? Any history, done something to cause it not to start. Bits and pieces of info really doen't help.

ok i bought the car a week ago the guy told me one day he was driving and it stall so it turn back on he go home and stall again after that it would not turn back on so he change the fuel pump,fuel pump relay,computer,fuel filter and the car still dont start so i bought it thinking that it was a easy fix no i cant find the problem it has plenty off spark. it tries to start but it wont start up. can u help me bro i luv mustang i though i was getting a deal i really want to get it running.

OK, first off, run on sentences are a pain to try and follow. How about some punctuation Please!! Have you checked for the correct fuel pressure w/ a gauge as Mjr46 suggested? How many miles on the car? What year and have you verified the firing order is correct?

sorry big b no not yet, it has 143,000 miles, its a 1990 lx 5.0, and yeah the firing order is correct i check it myself already. Whats the psi it should be running on, and big b do you have AIM messenger. so i can add you.

I have aim but never on it. Stock f/p is 39psi. You should be very close to that for it to run.
