94 mustang cutting out/off
I have a 94 Mustang GT that's driving me crazy. It started cutting out when driving like someone reached over and turned the key off. After testing fuel pump, ignition module, plugs, wires and such, it turned out to be the distributor. When I pulled the distributor out the shaft had a lot of slap in it. I replaced the distributor and it drove fine for about 2 weeks, but has started cutting out again. As to date it hasn't cut off, but it is cutting out. Can anyone lend some information as to what I might check????????

RE: 94 mustang cutting out/off
I've read that if your distributor gears don't mesh correctly, they can wear incorrectly and that this is an issue more with aftermarket distributors. Apparently in some cases the gears sit too high.
You might try pulling the distributor and seeing if there's wear on the bottom half of the gears and that everything's meshing correctly. It's a long shot, but it's all I can think of at the moment.
