Hey ive got a little problem i drive a 95 mustang GT 5-speed and when I start in first my engine bogs down (expecially when starting uphill) like it doest have enough power 2 get going ive tried going at diff speeds have to rev it to above 2000rpm's or i kill it i dunno if its what i do or if its something else help please.

It's not you. You should be able to take off at 900 rpm and barely touching the gas. Besides checing engine codes to see if there are any, check the TPS and and the MAF sensor. Make sure these are working properly. I am assuming the car will start and idle. From what you described the drivability should also be affected once underway.

im sorry but im a bigtime noob, what does the TPS and MAF stand for and where are they located.

its you when i drove it it was fine learn to let the clutch out slowly and not to give it to much gas

no no cuz it used 2 not be so bad i fixed the missing problem by cleaning the carbon problem on the distributor and now it does it worse than it used 2 i dunno this moring i drove it and i killed it 3 times, and that was the first time ive ever killed it. WTF?

i just cleaned up the carbon buldup on it and thats all, it doest mis anymore but i dunno whats wrong with it other than the speedomiter isnt right.

TRY CHECKING THE AIR INTAKE. MAYBE YOUR FILTER HAS A PLASTIC BAG OR SOMETHING SUCKED INTO IT. ALSO WHY DONT YOU JUST GET A NEW CAP AND ROTOR RATHER THAN TRYING TO CLEAN IT. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SPARK PLUGS ARE THEY NEW OR OLD AND ARE THEY GAPPED RIGHT. ALSO CHECK THE WIRES THEY COULD BE ARCING OFF THE ENGINE.
