Default 2.5' or 3' for a deployed Hubbys, Stang

1995 GTS, 2002 302 replaced with 240 HP motorsport crate.....13,000 miles approx...
MSD Hyfire,
BBK Cold air
March underdrive pulleys
blaster coil

adding procharger whenhegets home from Iraq...
Need exhaust NOW.....
Wifie needs to know,
Does he need 3" or will 2.5 suffice?
I know he wants new headers.
BBK I think
and he said when he put Cats back on...it would only be Pypes.
and flowmasters, are the only muffler "I" will let him install on our Stang.
I want to get him this done before his leave, but i dont want to spend 800+
for him to tear out as soon as he upgrades.... I know the only thing he spoke of doing is a custom tune on the computer, and a procharger.
and injectors?
I know a little, because he talks about his stang, more than our kids....even now that he is in Iraq.
LOL
I guess there is a little mustang in all our blood.
Thanks for any help, and if you need more info to answer, let me know and I will update.

2.5" will be fine

btw: Flowmaster aren't as good of choice with boost. Great for non-boost engines
but can cause backflow problems with boosted engine. Has to do with their chamber'd design

3" is huge...thats 500+ hp territory

2 1/2" is good for him, i like flowmaster MAC and BBK

first i thought you were gonna ask about hood...... and i was gonna say cervini only.

so just in case his present is not exhaust....go cervini on the cowl hood, harwood and HO fibretrend are equally as good though

2 1/2" is plenty. I would also recommend Magnaflow Mufflers over the Flowmasters.

2.5", MAC headers back. BBK has alot of fit issues.

Just my opinion, but I hate Flowmasters, that sound belongs on a chevy truck, not a Mustang. I have MAC dumps on mine, and SLP loudmouths on my wife's...now that's the way a Stang should sound.

Well I cant say I ever heard of MAC, but I know that Flowmaster's on his car make my nipples hard.
That deep growl, is amazing, even at idle.
Do macs set off car alarms?
Do they have that deep throaty growl?
Thanks.
