I have a 1988 Mustang GT that I am considering doing a 347 stroker engine swap. I am very green when it comes to engine swaps and I need to know all I can to make this as easy as possible. Big things bothering me are the MAF swap and weather or not SD can still be used cause I found a kit and its $530 to convert it. Also I am not sure what size injectors to use and if I upgrade the lbs, do I have to change the fuel pump (if so what size)? i am a little overwelmed with all these things and could really use some good guidence on this. my younger bros camaro is pulling ahead of me and I cant let that happen!! Thanks for taken the time to help!!

it would be much easier to tune if you converted to mass air i would think. I'm running 30lb injectors in my 347 with a 255 walbro fuel pump. injectors were like 190 and fuel pump was 90 so there not too bad.

without a SD tuner forget about using a 347 unless you convert to mass air

Which would be better/cheaper way to go? Convert to MAF or get a SD tuner? If the SD tuner where would I pick up one?

I think what mjr meant by sd tuner is a dyno tune where the guy doing it has a program to tune it. i've never heard of a handheld tuner for sd, or any 5.0 that is. I'd just convert it so you wont have to worry. or call around your area and see if any tuners have the program for sd.

Also I have been trying to figure out which way to go with the intake manifold, have read that the Victor or RPM II would be the best way to go....
