Default Cold Air

I know people have posted about this before but i am gonna ask again because i dont know exactly what to do. I have a 95 Mustang Gt stock except for exhaust. I was wandering if it would be worth it to put a cold air intake on it. I currently have the stock with a K&N filter. Also are the 40 dollar ebay ones just as good as the 150 dollar ones?

Don't spend that much on a CAI, I have learned this from people on here and have proved it to my self that you can add as much power as you would get from a CAI than you can with the K&N filter, removing you're air silencer and porting out the hole in you're fenderwell. But, yes, if you want a CAI then get one, there is no diff. between the 40$ and the 150$ ones. Just be careful and look at ratings before you bid.

I agree (but I'd go for the CAI anyways, because when you open the hood it adds a little eye candy at the least.)

Ya that's true, and the CAI sounds better.

it does give the engine a little mroe loudness i loved it even tho all my friends just told me to go with the K&N fitler. this was before i got my flows and the engine was louder that my stock exhaust, my friend commented "you know you got a good car when the engine is louder than the exhaust"

I just love the picture under your screen name 95. That is totally how it is with all those little hondas and acuras running around with the coffee cans coming out the back. I'd go with a CAI by the way or keep the stocker with the K&N. The ebay ones are just cheapo and somethimes you have to modify them to make them fit and though they may work ok most of the filters they put on them are crap unless it says specifically what kind of filter it has. Just do your homeowrk first.

Get the 30 dollar one off of ebay, they are exactly the same as the BBK, MAC etc. Just check feedback and ratings.
