Default High speed shakes

After getting the trans back together, noticed the car started to shake pretty violently at ~65 (speedo dont work). It does it no matter what gear im in, or how hard im pushing it.

Any suggestions?? Could it be something with the tranny?? Was thinking maybe loose driveshaft, but everything is tight and looks good. Kinda running out of idea's and patience with this car.

Check the U-joint off the driveshaft if one of them went u could be getting nasty vibrations at around a speed of like 65

Well I am having the same problem, I jacked up the rear of the car and found that the tailshaft housing had a lot a play and the ds was moving a good bit which is causing my vibration.

Could be loose driveshaft or u-joints. Could be suspension components or could be tires needed balanced. Tires would be a cheap easy thing to eliminate.

U cupped tire will also do this.

Roll your hand over the pattern, and look closely at the tread levels, they should be exactly the same, no high and low spots, or cups
