I found a set of 1970 351W Heads (C90E) for 100 bucks. I can't afford the expensive aftermarket heads right now. Just wondering if these are a big improvement over the E7's. If I buy them I will get a good port job done. I was also told I would lose compression by imstalling these heads.

If you're looking for a budget head just pick up some GT40s.

I cant get GT40's for $100. Besides they are very hard to find up here. I live in Canada, and to ship heads from the states is not cheap.

There are some older castings for the 351W that are basically the same as GT-40s, it may be the C90Es, but I don't remember as my old-school knowledge is a little rusty [:@].

Yeah just a suggestion. 351 heads use larger bolts so don't forget to get reducers.
