OK, so i have my good old 94 gt which i love..but heres somehtign i do not love...my gas mileage

I no everyone complains about it but u complainers are getting 250-300 to the tank, i am getting 120 to the tank.!

Does a Cold air intake, a little elss than mild cam, catted x and catback and a chip really take away my MPG's??? It costs almost $50 bucks to fill the tank with REGULAR whcih is 87 Octane and i get 20-25 miles ot a quarter tank...

Are there any valves sensors somehitgn i can clean or fix to up my mileage???? it has a fairly new distributor and mallory plugs n wires..shjould i see fi they are gapped correctly?? my tires are up to pressure as well so idk what is killing me, i launch very easily, take off from second gear soemtimes, use neutral down hills and adjusted my idle very low so when i go into neutral is like its not even running....tell me somethign.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please!!!!!

starting in 2nd is not fuel efficient, what gears do you have ? is the speedo corrected ?

how are you figuring out your mpg ??? the only proper way to do it is to topoff w/ gas, reset your odo, and then drive for about 100 miles or the whole tank either way. then topoff again and use those miles, against those gallons.

i have 4.10's and get 21 mpg on my tired 146k motor

ok thansk for the help, and i have 3:08 rear gear everythign is correct the speedo etc...and i fill up a lil past full reset my odometer, drive till half a tank, ill get maybe 80 miles if that to half a tank, then assume i get another 80 to the second half, so 160 ish to a tank, or ill fill up again and use the miles against the gallons, it is horrible on gas..she is good not he highway but around town i jsut die, and i guess i wont be using second gear out the hoel then..

try cleaning the maf if you have a k&n type oil filter....oil residue can contaminte maf a skew readings and in turn affect fuel mpg's

well if your talking city driving....yeah hard to get 12 mpg really, as long as your getting 22-24 on the all hiway miles...you got what you got

im sure te chip isnt helping, they always claim better fuel milage but i never beleive it.

make sure your o2's are good also, i would check/clean/replace all sensors.....

yea thanks i just did my x pipe and got 2 new 02 sensors..so i am good there, ill try cleanin the maf
