Plans of Buying an O/R H Pipe
I have a few questions!
1. Does off road just mean theres no cats? Serious question.
2. Will i still be able to hook up my smog pump and what other fancy attachments ( 02 sensors and such ) onto an O/R h pipe?
I want to be able to put my stock h pipe back on for emission purposes . . So i need my smog pump and 02 sensors in tached.
3. Since i am loosing my cats, will any bad warnings be sent to the comp? Will i have flashing lights and such saying i need to replace my exhaust!!
4. Will my smog pump be bucked because its putting back very dirty exhaust rather than catted exhaust?
Thanks, sorry for the nub questions~!

RE: Plans of Buying an O/R H Pipe
ok i think i got ya for this one...i bought my 94 gt with a mac off road h...it had two 02 sensors and the smog pump attachment...i now put on my upr catted x and it came with the sensor holes but no smog hookup which is fine, my car threw no codes and was perfectly fine....the offroad pipe will bolt up smoothly and DOES NOT DOES NOT HAVE ANY CATS ON IT, offroad means not emissions legal and has no cats, so all u will have to do is either custom fab the smog pump or ur best bet is to zip tie it to the frame until u need it for emissions, or take it off and bolt it basck up later, i ziptied mine to the frame and its fine, but u HAVE TO HOOK UP UR 02 sensors or ur car will throw a check engine and will run pretty crappy and u will hear a sound form ur exhasut liek ti has a hole in it, so basically, zip tie the smog to the frame, the hoses n such, then just unscrew ur exsisting 02 sensors, and bolt them up to ur new offroad pipe with the supplied tapped holse, and ur all set, tighten everythign up and enjoy some HP!!!!!!!

Thanks for the helpful reply
I may pick up a mac o/r h pipe for 100 bucks. Ill give it a shot. Big gamble ahah.
I nkow its not street / emissions legal, why else would i be looking into getting one?
I was just hoping that it had all the proper hook ups. By the photo it looks as though there is no smog hook up . . . So i may need to look into that.

So when you say just zip tye the tube by the h pipe, can i just leave it open? Should i put anything over it? Like it'll be a foot off the ground. Dirt, water, mud ect. I cannot see anything good coming from that idea.
I have no problem running no smog pump.
So,
if i leave the smog pump free
and there will be spots for the o2 sensors, is that all that plugs into the h pipe in total? any other concerns?

yep..thatrs it just make sure when u bolt it up its nice and tight and appears sealed...the bolts up by the header are a *****....so be prepared, and a good thing to do is to lightly hit the exsisting bolts with wd-40 lightly dont pour it on or ur wrench will slide right off, and yea the pilot holes for the 02's ar epredrilled all u have ot do is screw in the 02s to the new pipe, adn just zip tie it tot he frame, u wont need it down the road if u do put ur stock pipe back on, so dojt worry about the water n such unless u plan on going offroading, or going thorough huge puddles, u will be fine
