if you dont have time to put on a upper and lower intake why would you have time to do the whole engine?

Just do it if you have it. It's definitely not going to hurt your car if that's what you're asking. You'll see more gain though when you swap your heads.

you should wait until you have the time and money for a decent h/c/i for the 347 to install is otherwise drown the horse out[&:]

I agree, getting the kit wasn't a bad thing to do at all, but wait until you can get some good heads like AFR 185s. They will work well. If you don't like AFR, then I would say go with Trick flow Twisted wedge heads, or Edelbrock Victor Jrs. These are all really good and will make that 347 come to life! You will also want to get a decent cam. I would call Comp and see what they reccommend for your application.

If you don't mind doing it twice, you could have a built bottomend, and install the stock top-end pieces. This will severely restrict the power output. Then, when you have extra money, buy the top-end pieces out when you get time.

Plan ahead.

Sometimes it is best to do it all at once, and sometimes it is not. It all depends on the circumstances surrounding your build, budget, time frame, etc.

Do it! If you have it layin around and can afford to do it now, then by all means. You def need to plan on swapping in some new heads and camshaft soon though to really take advantage of the cubes.

personally I'd wait a 347 with all stock 302 parts may produce 25 more rwhp....for that I'd assume just add exhaust and a cai and intake[&:]
