What would be some good, inexpensive ways to add power to my mustang?

Not much you can do for cheap? Bump your timing a little. After that if cost $$$. Even bumping timing will cost in the long run because you have to use premium. Give us an honest number as far as what your budget is and we can make reccomendations.

you can get more power by shrinking that sig pic!

seriously tho upgrade: gears, exhaust, heads, cam, intake, fuel system, ignition system.

then add a supercharger.

other than that, engine swap

or... NAWWWZ

Nitrous, cheap, reliable and mega power. Only problem is it's not always there and gets costly if used all the time.

I would pop a supercharger or turbo kit on there before I did heads cam and intake, if I could rewind and redo things over again. I would go in this order: 3.27 or 3.55 gears with a good posi, then do turbo kit along with other things like injectors fuel pump and ignition coil at the same time, then add bolt-ons from there like throttle body intake and cam. Take it from someone who went with the heads cam and intake swap, I wouldtake forced induction beforeHCI any day. The only think that makes it hard is that is one big lump sum to drop all at once. You figure 3,000 for your turbo kit, 650 for injectors and fuel pump and coil, and then another 500-700 in a dyno tune/chip.

Hellion Kit $5,000 retail but can be found for cheaper through some vendors. Comes with every possible thing you need to bolt on and drive.

Hellion is nice if you need to keep smog stuff and you want everything all in one package. I think they are a bit overpriced if you don't need to keep smog, not grossly, but you can get just as nice a kit from Quicktime if you don't have to keep smog stuff and you get a bigger turbo 70mm as opposed to 62mm with the Hellion kit.

*On another note does anyone know what kind of mass air meter you get with a Hellion kit?*

Sorry to hijack, I'll just be quiet now, since I already gave my 2 cents
