Default suspension

im finally getting my 88 out this friday. i want to get it ready for crusing and what not. as of last year i dont really like the way my car rides, its very rough, you can feel every bump in the road, if i go over train tracks all over the place. previous owner said that he had something called suspension technique springs installed, and as far as i can tell there are also stock struts and shocks(they are all balck).

now i am a highschool student going onto university so i have to somewhat budget myself. what i wanted to install are ford racing springs, mac U/L control arms(then remove the rear quad shocks), and some sort of shocks. i dont know what springs to get. my car is low now and it is very leveled. i want that lower front end look so i was thinking the B or C spring. whats better? the C has progressive rate what does that effect.

as for shocks what can i throw on, i want something cheap but can ride good. overall i want my stang to handle better in the corners(no drifting obviously) while maintaing a nice ride feel. right now its like i am riding a horse its horrible.

The "C" springs are very stiff in the front. 650lbs non variable rate.
The "B" springs will ride better. Both kits use the same rear springs.
I used to have the "C" springs and sisn't need the front sway bar, because the front end would not move, even if you tried pushing down on the fender. I should have kept them I have stockers in mine for now.

im just trying to figure out what would give me a better ride for crusing and cornering.

right now i have a full 1 inch drop front and rear, is that to low? i personally like the ride height that its at.
also do i have to get special shocks and struts for a lowered car? i was going to either get monroes or kyb (the gt-2 or something)

also what do you think of the summit U/L control arms, there 200 bucks and is exactly what i can budget for. but will i see any benefits, or will its be better just to leave everything stock
