Default Aluminum driveshaft

Anybody else have an aluminum driveshaft? Talked to a few who do and have experienced my problem: real loud noise when taking off (more so when slowly) sounds like a hollow metal noise. It also happens in gear sometimes, if i am coasting, then i hit the throttle, though not as loud then (or maybe it is but my exhaust hides the sound.) Anyone else switched to an aluminum driveshaft and had similar expieriences. Does the aluminum just resonate noises more? I have no vibrations or anything, just this god forsaken ping/bang/pop kinda noise, but nothing is hittin anything and everything seems to work fine.

I have the same problem with my mustang in michigan{I bent the driveshaft} And the same problem in oklahoma in my 02 camaro but i am told it is just a noise so dont worry about it. When I dorve it I would just go under the mustang every few days and take a 12 mil 12 point wrench and tighten the bolts back up. Your sound could also be a misaligned u-joint. Take the driveshaft off and move the area of the u-joints around and see if it binds if so your joints might need to be fixed of replaced, or mayby just lubed.

i have an Al driveshaft. doesnt do those weird noises.

and it is worth the money, its not just weight youre reducing it's also rotating mass which equates to free power.
